How to register

Step 1: Register for Maverick Rugby


Currently we receive no financial support from the school or the district. This means that all our funding comes from the Club registration we collect.

Maverick Rugby club registration is $300 per player

  • You can use the button below for online via PayPal.
    NOTE: you can use any credit card, you do not need a PayPal account.

  • If you prefer to register via check, please make the check out to "LCC Foundation" and add "Rugby" in the memo line. You can drop off the check at the foundation office at school or mail: Maverick Rugby 3112 Vista Mar, Carlsbad CA 92009.  

​** The Maverick Rugby registration goes toward, but not limited to these costs to the club:

  • Uniforms – each player receives Maverick practice jersey, shorts and socks

  • Training equipment and first aid supplies

  • Administration costs to LCC – rugby website and LCC foundation fees

  • Food for ALL players at home games - It is a rugby tradition to feed the opponents and share a meal after each match

  • Game officials

  • Trainer/Medic

  • Field costs for practice and matches

  • Tournament fees when applicable

  • SCIRF league fees:

    •  League management

    •  Liability insurance for each player

    • Secondary medical insurance for each player

  •  Certification costs for each coach

Step 2: Register with the league

The boys are participating in a league called the Southern California Interscholastic Rugby Federation (SCIRF) and the girls are participating in a league managed by Southern California Youth Rugby (SCYR).

Each player has to register with their league in order to play in games. Please do so by clicking on the correct registration button below.


This requires you to upload a quality photo (head-shot) of the player (e.g., the school photo in Aeries) as well as a quality photo of the player's school ID. 

NOTE: The registration has to be made by an adult since it involves signing waivers, either by a parent/guardian or by an adult player.
